Privacy Policy

Based on Article 13 sections 1−2 of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (OJ EU L 2016, No. 119) – hereinafter referred to as GDPR – we inform you that:

1. The Data Controller of your personal data

3. Purpose of processing your data by the Controller

Personal data are processed by the Controller in particular:

  1. Based on Article 6 section 1 points a), b) for the purpose of:
    • entering into a contract, undertaking actions prior to entering into a contract at the request of the person concerned, or performing a contract;
    • fulfilling a legal obligation incumbent on the Controller (e.g., tax law, accounting regulations);
    • handling inquiries, complaints, and technical support.
  2. Based on the Controller’s legitimate interest, i.e., under Article 6 section 1 point f) GDPR, for the purpose of:
    • marketing their own products or services (the legitimate interest being providing information to customers about their services and products);
    • pursuing or securing claims and defending against claims (the possibility of defense against claims, pursuing claims, or securing them is also a legitimate interest of the Controller).

4. Information on the voluntary nature of providing data

Providing personal data is voluntary and necessary to carry out activities related to the Controller’s operations. If required by law, we may ask you to provide other data necessary for accounting or tax reasons.

5. Retention period for personal data

Personal data processed for the purposes described in point 3 will be retained for the period indicated in applicable laws and, after this period, for the time necessary to:

  • provide post-sales customer service (e.g., handling complaints);
  • secure or pursue possible claims of the Controller;
  • fulfill the Controller’s legal obligation (e.g., resulting from tax or accounting regulations).

Personal data processed on the basis of consent will be processed until such consent is withdrawn at any time, without affecting the legality of processing carried out on the basis of consent prior to its withdrawal.

Regarding inquiries submitted via the contact form, personal data will be processed until the inquiry is resolved, and after that for the period and scope necessary for Cleaning24 Sp. z o.o. to pursue its legitimate interests as the Controller.

6. Sharing your personal data

Your data will only be shared with entities authorized by law or under data processing agreements. These include, among others:

  • companies providing IT services, hosting services, domain registrars, accounting services, postal and courier services;
  • legal firms, supervisory authorities, courts, and other authorities (e.g., tax authorities and anti-fraud enforcement agencies);
  • independent external advisors (e.g., auditors) or service providers when necessary for fulfilling legal obligations.

Such entities are always obligated to apply appropriate security measures, both technical and organizational, to protect your personal data and process them in accordance with applicable laws.

7. Transferring your data outside the European Economic Area (EEA)

The Controller may transfer your personal data to countries outside the EEA if necessary for the proper provision of our services or for other operational needs of Cleaning24 Sp. z o.o.

When transferring personal data outside the EEA, we rely on:

  • a determination by the European Commission regarding an adequate level of protection;
  • ensuring an appropriate level of protection for personal data.

8. Rights of individuals whose personal data are processed

  • The right to access personal data, including the right to confirmation of whether the Controller processes data and information about such processing under Article 15 GDPR;
  • The right to rectify (correct) personal data under Article 16 GDPR;
  • The right to delete personal data under Article 17 GDPR;
  • The right to request the Controller to restrict processing of data under Article 18 GDPR;
  • The right to data portability under Article 20 GDPR;
  • The right to object to the processing of data under Article 21 GDPR, unless the Controller demonstrates legitimate grounds overriding the interests, rights, and freedoms of the individual, particularly under our legitimate interest;
  • The right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority – the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection, 00-193 Warsaw, ul. Stawki 2;
  • The right to withdraw consent for personal data processing.

To exercise these rights (except for the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority), please contact us as specified in point 2 of this policy.

9. Profiling and the Controller’s commitments

We do not engage in automated decision-making, including profiling, as defined in Article 22 sections 1 and 4 GDPR. The Controller undertakes to implement appropriate security measures, both technical and organizational, to protect your personal data. In the event of new systems or processes being implemented in which your personal data will be used, you will be informed in accordance with applicable laws.
